We changed the format, not the meanings: each entry is converted to JSON with its characters, numbered pinyin and English definitions, and we add tone-marked and toneless pinyin plus a search index. Our converted files are shared under the same licence.

51 short recordings of words and phrases, made with text-to-speech (Microsoft Edge TTS zh-CN-XiaoxiaoNeural). Where a recording is missing, the app uses your browser's own Mandarin voice.
